The 804 plug has a built in power saver circuit which applies full power
to a solenoid coil for 50mS. Using PWM techniques the voltage is then
dropped to 1/3rd reducing the current consumption proportionately. This
is particularly useful where multiple valves are used in a mobile application
and battery power is limited. As a result of reducing the current the
operating temperature of the valve is also reduced thus increasing coil
life. The plug is supplied pre wired with 1 meter of cable fitted as
standard. Other lengths are available to special order.
